Yesterday we buried Pete’s mom. It was a sad yet beautiful day because she was so loved by her family. Pete gave an amazing, amazing eulogy. At one point, I thought the priest was going to kick some members of his family out of church and Catholicism for going up to Communion illegally. Afterwards, I drove nearly 5 hours to Boston where I performed at the Stoneham Theater. I was exhausted and in a zone, but once I got on stage it was terrific. Wonderful audience. Theaters are so civilized. Now it’s to the gym and then a 5 hour drive to the Catskills. Ah, the life.
